3 Day Positive Behaviour Support & Management

Course Info
This programme is designed for staff who are either new to the care field, new to their employing organisation, or who have not previously worked within care services where challenging behaviour may be an issue
The course encompasses one day of theory learning which covers all aspects of working with challenging behaviour positively, with a particular emphasis on reducing the need for physical intervention
This is followed by two days of physical skills designed to maintain the safety of people who use services and others when a situation has escalated into a crisis, and when injuries may occur without a physical intervention.
