Any person who has an interest in developing learning and development.  This qualification has no prerequisites and can be undertaken by a learner who is not currently in a teaching role. 

This qualification covers 3 modules, equating to 12 credits:

• Understand roles and responsibilities in Education and Training
• Understand and use inclusive approaches
• Understand assessments

Learners will be provided with resources, support, and guidance throughout the course to develop and understand the role of a trainer.  You will be taught by an experienced and qualified trainer, who will adapt the course to your specific requirements and needs.  You will also be provided with further support dependent on the subject delivery that you will be carrying out.

Learners will deliver a 1 hour (max) Micro-Teach session on a subject of their choice; a written assignment based on specific criteria alongside a reflective account based on your Micro-Teach delivery. 

This course is delivered over 35 hours, carried over 4 weeks. There will be approximately 20 hours of home study and preparation.

Delivery of this course will take place out of our fit for purpose venue in Nantgarw Industiral Estate, Treforest, Pontypridd
